Bespoke Tailoring in Dubai
Bespoke and semi bespoke tailoring in Dubai, 100% handcrafted and built around who you are. Every piece begins with a personal consultation at Lapels Bespoke.

Bespoke Tailoring,
Built Around Who You Are
We offer bespoke and semi bespoke only, and we never offer made to measure.
That decision is a statement in itself, because every piece here begins as a conversation about identity rather than a size chart.
Each bespoke journey opens with a personal consultation. We believe clothing should do more than fit, and the wardrobe we build should reflect who a client is. Personality plays a defining role in personal branding, so we design around how a client wants to be perceived in the boardroom and around the way he lives beyond it, while travelling, networking or spending time with friends. The result carries the same character in every setting.
Our pieces are genuinely 100% handcrafted. That gives us the utmost control over customisation and the closest attention to detail, from the first measurement through to the final hand stitch. It is also what allows a piece to project the authority an executive wants in the room, while remaining unmistakably personal.
This is quiet luxury at its finest, made for clients who understand that the finest tailoring speaks softly and is noticed all the same.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a consultation at Lapels Bespoke?
Every commission begins with a private consultation at our atelier within The Palace Downtown Hotel. We recommend arranging an appointment in advance so we can dedicate the time your consultation deserves.
You can book online, call us on +971 58 526 7789, email clientrelations@lapelsbespoke.com, or get in touch via WhatsApp, whichever is most convenient for you.
How long does the bespoke tailoring process take?
We generally recommend allowing four to eight weeks from your first consultation to the final fitting. The exact timeline depends on the garment, the cloth you’ve chosen, and how many fittings are needed to perfect the result.
If you’re visiting Dubai or working to a particular date, let us know at the beginning. Whenever possible, we’ll plan the process around your schedule without compromising the standard of the work.
How many fittings are required?
Most bespoke commissions require at least two fittings. More complex garments, or those for clients with fit requirements, may require three or four. Each fitting is an opportunity to refine the garment until it is exactly right.
What fabrics are available for bespoke suits?
Our fabric library is one of the most comprehensive available to any tailor in Dubai. We carry cloth from Dormeuil, Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Scabal, Caccioppoli, Huddersfield, Carnet, and John Cavendish, among others.
Do you work with women?
Yes. Alongside our menswear commissions, we also create bespoke tailoring for women, including suits, blazers and occasion wear.
The same principles of individual pattern cutting, precise fittings and traditional craftsmanship apply to every commission, regardless of who will wear the finished garment.
What is the difference between bespoke and made-to-measure tailoring?
The simplest way to think about it is where the garment begins.
With made-to-measure, an existing pattern is adjusted to fit you. With bespoke, nothing exists until you’ve walked through the door. Your pattern is drafted by hand around your measurements, posture and proportions, then refined through fittings until it feels entirely natural to wear.
That individual pattern becomes the foundation for every future commission.
What are the most popular fabrics for suits in Dubai’s climate?
The right cloth depends less on the weather than on how you’ll wear the garment.
A suit for daily business meetings has different demands from one intended for frequent travel or a destination wedding. Before recommending a fabric, we’ll talk about your lifestyle, where you’ll be wearing the garment, and how you want it to perform.
Only then do we suggest the cloth we believe is right for you. It isn’t always the lightest one; it’s the one that best suits the life the garment is meant to lead.
