Many of our rental clients could comfortably buy the piece outright.
They choose to rent because the garment is quickly available, because there are designer options to choose from, and because none of that costs them the comfort of a properly tailored suit. Some are visiting for only a few days. Some are attending a wedding or an event abroad. Others are CEOs of technology companies who live comfortably in casual clothes and would rather not keep a tuxedo they will seldom wear.
For all of them, renting removes the commitment of owning a garment they do not need, while keeping everything they do want from it. They look fresh, the piece suits them, and nothing about it announces itself as a rental.

That alteration is the difference between a rental that reads as borrowed and a piece that reads as owned. Rentals are also available through our concierge service, so the fitting can take place wherever a client happens to be, whether that is a hotel suite, a private residence or a members’ club. The house travels, and the standard travels with it.
