Press only when necessary, preferably through a trusted tailor or specialist dry cleaner. A pressing cloth should always be used, with no direct heat applied, to protect the natural fibres and preserve the depth and character of the cloth.
Dry Cleaning
Dry clean only when necessary, such as when the garment has been stained or has absorbed odour. Excessive dry cleaning can gradually affect the natural fibres and the canvas construction of a handmade garment. For small marks, gentle spot-cleaning with a damp cloth is preferable to cleaning the entire suit.
