Japanese Denim, Fully Handmade
AED 18,900.00
A modern interpretation of the safari suit, this Silver Grey ensemble brings the character of Japanese Denim into a fully tailored silhouette. The jacket is fully handmade and built on a full canvas, with patch pockets, surgeon’s cuffs and double vents lending it the considered construction of traditional tailoring.
The accompanying Gurkha trousers introduce a distinctive counterpoint, with double reverse pleats creating a fuller line through the leg and turned-up hems giving the silhouette a relaxed finish. Genuine mother-of-pearl buttons complete the ensemble.
Designed to move beyond conventional suiting, the Silver Grey Safari Suit can be worn as a complete look or as separates for a more relaxed, casual wardrobe.
Caring for Your Suit
A fine suit is made to be lived in, but it deserves time to rest between wears. Store it on a well-shaped hanger to preserve the natural form of the shoulders and allow the cloth to recover.
Pressing
Press only when necessary, preferably through a trusted tailor or specialist dry cleaner. A pressing cloth should always be used, with no direct heat applied to the wool, to protect the natural fibres and preserve the depth and character of the cloth.
Dry Cleaning
Dry clean only when necessary, such as when the garment has been stained or has absorbed odour. Excessive dry cleaning can gradually affect the natural fibres and the canvas construction of a handmade garment. For small marks, gentle spot-cleaning with a damp cloth is preferable to cleaning the entire suit.
Pro Tip: The less frequently a garment is dry cleaned, the longer it will retain its natural character and longevity. When dry cleaning is necessary, always entrust your garment to a professional specialist dry cleaner experienced in fine tailoring and natural fibres.
